what?
hyperliminal is building the path of least resistance to having fun with others

thesis

hyperliminal is a product-led game company.

We are hyperfocused with rigid constraints so that we can ship early and often, optimizing towards the path of least resistance to having fun with others.
constraints
[0,0]
the game is a vehicle for emergent fun with others
- the game does not take itself too seriously
- we hyperoptimize for the social experience, the game is a backdrop
- we do not spend years working on art, music or narrative if it doesn't directly contribute to the social experience
[0,1]
be where people already meet
- we are building experiences inside platforms where people hang out today
- existing "third spaces" like Discord, Twitch, Facebook and YouTube have rich and active communities
- we leverage all the platform has to offer (e.g. social APIs, features, best practices)
[0,2]
unlock novel game mechanics with emergent technologies
- today's low cost compute and LLMs unlock experiences previously not possible

experiences

We're building social-first experiences (read: games) optimized for the platforms where people already hang out.
